Eligibility Requirements
Basic Requirements
- Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens in good health.
- Applicants must be at least 20 years old.
Educational Background and Age Requirements
- Applicants must hold a Master’s degree.
- Applicants must be under 40 years old (born on or after September 1, 1985).
Language Requirements
Chinese-taught Programs
- Applicants must have an HSK Level 5 certificate with a minimum score of 180.
- Liaoning Government Scholarship and self-funded students: If the language requirement is not met, applicants may apply for a Chinese preparatory course.
- Chinese Government Scholarship applicants: If the applicant holds an HSK Level 4 certificate with a minimum score of 180, they may be required to complete a one-year Chinese preparatory course.
English-taught Programs
- English is their native or official language.
- Provide TOEFL, IELTS, or other recognized English proficiency test scores.
Scholarship Programs and Benefits
Liaoning Government Scholarship
- Tuition Fees: Fully covered
- Accommodation: Free twin-room dormitory or an off-campus accommodation subsidy of 1,000 RMB/month
- Living Allowance: 3,500 RMB/month
- Medical Insurance: Fully covered
- Scholarship Duration: 3 years (excluding Chinese preparatory course)
