This major focuses on modern financial activities and financial innovation, applying mathematical analysis-centered modern financial theories, tools, technologies, and methods to creatively solve financial problems. It is a new emerging discipline in finance that is highly practical and technical.
Students in this program should master basic theories and knowledge in economics, finance, economic mathematics, and computer science, understand micro-finance principles and operations, and possess basic skills in banking, securities, insurance, investment, risk management, and related business areas.
Training Objectives
This program aims to cultivate excellent financial engineering talents by carefully selecting textbooks and course content, striving for students to quickly acquire the most essential theoretical knowledge they will need, and then adopting a problem-oriented approach to efficiently develop students' ability to apply professional knowledge to solve practical problems.
