The German Program aims to cultivate German-language professionals who can become pillars of the nation. Training Objectives
The German Program aims to cultivate students who possess the correct worldview, outlook on life, and values, alongside excellent moral qualities. Students should have a deep understanding of Chinese culture and a broad international perspective. They should also develop an innovative spirit, a cooperative attitude, a sense of social responsibility, and a humanistic literacy. The program equips students with professional knowledge of German language, literature, culture, and translation, along with knowledge of major German-speaking countries. Students will also be familiar with Chinese language and culture, as well as the basic concepts of natural and social sciences. The program provides an interdisciplinary knowledge structure that highlights the unique features of the German language.
Graduates will demonstrate abilities such as language proficiency, literary appreciation, cross-cultural communication, critical thinking, creativity, information technology, autonomous learning, practical application, and research skills. Students will be prepared to carry out international exchanges using the German language proficiently. Graduates are expected to reach the national German Level 8 proficiency and University English Level 6, complete all credits in the training plan, and meet the "Student Physical Fitness Health Standards."
