Introduction to the Major
The International Politics major (with a focus on International Organizations and International Public Policy) was established in 2017 as the first of its kind in China. Since 2018, the program has been enrolling undergraduate students. The major adopts a secondary admission process, selecting first-year students from various departments and schools within the university.
Training Objectives
The program aims to cultivate high-quality professionals in the field of international organizations, equipping them with a global vision and an in-depth understanding of China. Students are expected to possess knowledge of both Chinese and international cultures, master fundamental theoretical frameworks, acquire extensive practical skills, and be proficient in two working languages of the United Nations in addition to Chinese.

Students must complete the required number of credits and meet the following criteria:
- Master political science theories
- Possess in-depth specialized knowledge
- Demonstrate outstanding foreign language proficiency
