Professional Internship
The professional internship for Master's students includes two main components:
- Professional Internship: Arranged in the fourth semester at relevant media units, with an internship duration of no less than 3 months;
- Research Participation: Students can participate in faculty research projects, academic seminars, field surveys, data collection, etc.
Internship results will be recorded in the "Graduate Student Academic and Internship Activity Evaluation Form," reviewed and recognized by the school to count for 1 credit.
Training Method
The program applies a combined method of "primary supervisor responsibility and group training."
Supervisors will guide students through teaching, research, and thesis support, focusing on cultivating independent research abilities and comprehensive development in professionalism, ethics, and physical well-being.
Research Directions
- Journalism Theory and History: Focuses on researching domestic and international journalism history, Marxist journalism thought, history of journalism thought, and issues related to public opinion.
- Journalism Practice: Studies the principles, patterns, and standards of journalism operations such as interviewing, writing, editing, and commentary.
