Mineral Resources Engineering
The Mineral Resources Engineering program is an attractive option for those who are passionate about mining technology, mineral processing, and environmental protection. If you have analytical thinking skills, enjoy technical work, and want to contribute to the sustainable development of the mining industry, this program will be a suitable choice.
Program Introduction
The Mineral Resources Engineering program was established in 1999 based on the original Mining Engineering program. The training directions vary depending on the university, but they mainly include the following: Mineral Resources Development Engineering (sometimes referred to as Mining Engineering), Mineral Processing Engineering, and Safety Engineering. The Mineral Resources Development Engineering (Mining Engineering) direction aims to cultivate senior engineering and technical talents for mineral resource development. It trains students in basic skills and innovative awareness in the development of mineral resources, planning and design of modern mining systems, engineering design, enterprise production and management, technical and administrative management, safety technology and supervision, scientific research and technological innovation, and mining production management.
Training Objectives
This program aims to cultivate professionals with a solid foundation in theory, broad knowledge, strong practical abilities, high overall quality, and an innovative spirit. The program is designed to produce versatile engineering technical talents who are capable of solving complex engineering problems, focusing on grassroots and production frontline.
Graduates should systematically master the basic theories, knowledge, and skills of mineral material processing and utilization, mineral resource assessment, and mineral resource management, as well as the comprehensive utilization of mineral resources.
